Hello, I’m Alan, and today I will talk about the disadvantages and advantages of wind energy.

	Some questions I have about wind energy are: How should we lower the noise of wind energy, How should we lower the cost of wind energy?


Some advantages of wind energy are more job opportunities like manufacturing, transportation, and project construction for the community and people. It also attracts tourists to visit the windmills, allows for lower tax prices, and more funding given to schools.

But wind energy has some downsides. Some disadvantages of wind energy are, birds & bats dying, windmill malfunctions like leaking fluids, getting caught on fire, changing the land around it, creating a lot of noise, and making a lot of wind, and it also costs a lot to build a single windmill.

A environmental impact is that the environment gets affected by thousands of birds & bats dying yearly, and changing the landscape around it.

	And, I’m going to share with you some viewpoints:

	Social viewpoint, the people who live near windmills complain about noise, and a lot of wind, and are scared of birds dying.

 	Economic Viewpoint: Having wind energy will create more jobs for the community like manufacturing, transportation, and project construction it also brings tourists.

Environmental Viewpoint: Bad things happen for example catching on fire, leaking fluids, and changing the land around it. 

Political Viewpoint: Windmills could lower tax prices, and add more funding to schools, also the government promised to cap oil & greenhouse gasses, but this has been delayed.

My conclusion is that wind energy is good because it lowers tax prices, gives more jobs, and gives more funding to schools, but you have to fix the issues of wind energy like bats and birds dying to the blades of the windmills or more will die over time.
